NEW DELHI: The Delhi high court on Wednesday issued notice to the CBI on a plea of retired passport official Lalitha Lakshmanan to quash criminal and corruption charges against her in underworld don Chhota Rajan’s fake passport case. Justice IS Mehta sought CBI’s response by July 8. The CBI in its charge sheet said that Chhota Rajan got a fake passport issued in the name of Mohan Kumar from Bengaluru in 1998-99 in connivance with three others, including Lakshmanan.
