RANCHI: Jharkhand BJP chief Tala Marandi, who has been surrounded by controversies since his appointment in May, tendered his resignation to party’s national general secretary Ram Lal on Wednesday after he was summoned by the high command in Delhi for his arbitrary decisions and controversial remarks. Marandi said he had tendered his resignation on “moral grounds” and refused to speak in detail. However, the high command is yet to accept his resignation and has asked him to continue on the post till August 23.
