DARJEELING: The West Bengal forest department has arrested four persons from Siliguri in north Bengal and seized five bullet-proof glass jars of black cobra venom believed to be valued at Rs 200 crore in the black market. The venom was extracted in France and routed through Bangladesh. The arrests were made on Friday night with forest department officials led by ranger Sanjay Dutta from the Belokabo range in Jalpaiguri district posing as buyers from Bhutan.
