In separate instances, two girls — 14-year-old Rama Devi and three-month-old Priyanshi — were seriously ill.
They were referred to Agra for treatment. Despite distress calls, the ambulance service did not respond. As a result, both children died in Firozabad, their family members said.
Under the Samajwadi ambulance service, patients are assured of an ambulance within 10 minutes of dialling 108.
