CHENNAI: National Award-winning Tamil lyricist Na Muthukumar died here on Sunday due to jaundice, sources close to his family said. The 41-year-old had won two National awards for his songs ‘Ananda Yazhai Meetukiral’ and ‘Azhage Azhage’ in Tamil movies Thanga Meengal and Saivam, respectively. Born at Kancheepuram, he wanted to be a film director early in his career and had worked as an assistant to filmmaker Balu Mahendra.
