MUMBAI: A case of disproportionate assets was registered against former Maharashtra deputy CM and NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal and 11 others by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). Several of his family members are also named, including his wife Meena, son and MLA Pankaj, daughter-in-law Vishakha, and nephew and former MP Sameer Bhujbal. “Investigations by our officials revealed the family had assets disproportionate to their known sources of income. Money was routed through companies with other coaccused by way of share subscription at high premium against cash,” said an ACB statement.
