He also advocated for multi-level parking lots as well as underground parking spaces.

Why do we see vehicles parked on the city roads?

We have developed 42 authorised parking lots in various commercial, institutional and industrial areas across the city.

The residents’ welfare associations and industries associations should educate their members to park their vehicles inside their premises.

Are the authorities not to be blamed for poor enforcement?

We do challan the vehicles parked in unauthorised areas. But we too face some problems on this account as there is not sufficient area available with us to park the towed vehicles. The area police stations also have space constraint.

We park the towed vehicles on the ground near the Botanical Garden. But that too cannot accommodate more than 250 four-wheelers.

What is the solution to the problem?

Noida authority must provide more parking area for future development and enforce the law strictly.

As for the already developed sectors, the only solution seems to have parking facility under the various parks and raise multi level parking lots where required.
