How much importance would you give to the fact that you took to golf even before you turned two?
It all started because I wanted to spend time with my ‘pop’ (father). Once I was old enough for us to play together, he always made it fun. We would always have a good time. My parents encouraged me to try others sports, and I did play baseball and run track, but I always gravitated back to golf.

After having achieved what you have, what keeps you going back to the golf course?
Of course, I like winning, but it’s also the desire to get better. I never want to settle for being only as good as I am right now.

What does success mean to you?
It is working hard and striving to get better every day. I want this year to be better than the previous one. As my ‘pop’ always said, ‘you get out what you put in it’.

What in your mind are the simple joys of life and how do you make time for them?
My biggest joy is my kids. I love spending time with them, doing the things they want to do, and watching them grow. Like every parent knows, it’s hard work, tremendously rewarding and a lot of fun.
