When play was suspended, DLF Gurgaon and Silverglades Delhi were engaged in a keen tussle with all players shooting above par scores.

DLF Gurgaon's Abhinav Lohan was leading by two strokes against Silverglades Delhi's Shamim Khan, while the other two matches were tied as Rashid Khan was level par with Jyoti Randhawa, and Himmat Rai with Digvijay Singh on the 10th hole.

Untimely rain made the conditions at the Jaypee Greens Golf Resort unplayable following which the decision was taken to carry over the match on Sunday, giving the Delhi team time and opportunity to stage a comeback.

All the players struggled to hit the fairways as incessant wind and rain made hitting with accuracy extremely difficult.
