With 46 medals, including 13 gold, 18 silver and 15 bronze, India’s Special Olympics contingent returned with its largest Winter Games tally ever. Alpine skiing was the most successful discipline for India, yielding four gold out of 16 medals.

Snowboarders won 14 medals including three gold, while another three gold were won in snow-shoeing. One gold each was one in speed skating and figure skating, respectively.
