Recognising her recent success, Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal was felicitated by Badminton 45 at a function in Mumbai on Saturday.
The Hyderabadi, who won the Indonesian Open Super Series title last month, was presented a cheque of Rs 2.5 lakhs by chief guest Rajashree Birla, wife of industrialist Aditya Vikram Birla, at a function hosted by the Bombay Gymkhana. Nehwal’s good run has elevated her to the world No 6 ranking.
