Sharath, Saha in doubles final

Indians Sharath Kamal and Subhajit Saha came from a match point down to register a thrilling 3-2 win over Englishmen Liam Pitchford and Andrew Baggaley in the semi-finals of the men's doubles table tennis competition at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Indians Sharath Kamal and Subhajit Saha came from a match point down to register a thrilling 3-2 win over Englishmen Liam Pitchford and Andrew Baggaley in the semi-finals of the men's doubles table tennis competition at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Sharath and Saha, the top seeds in the tournament, lived up to their billing and won 11-13, 11-7, 7-11, 12-10, 11-6.

The victory was a sweet revenge as the fancied hosts were stunned by England in the semi-finals of the men's team event.

Sharat and Subhajit will play in the final the winner of the Singapore-Australian tie later in the day.
