Top seed Kanika Kanwal of Delhi eased did not face any difficulty in entering the third round in the badminton sub-junior nationals on Monday.
She defeated Arya Kumari 21-0, 21-1 in the U-13 section but had to work hard in the U-15 section to beat Ashna Roy of Kerala 21-17, 21-9, 21-16.
Delhi’s Bhavya Rishi also advanced into third round.
