On the day HT reported that Sushil Kumar had decided to take national team physio Arvinderpal Singh to the London Olympics on his expense, after the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) refused to clear the physio's name, the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has decided to bear the cost of Arvinderpal's London trip.

"The federation will take care of his expenses," said Raj Singh, general secretary, WFI. "We have the letter from IOA and his visa formalities can be completed. The physio will be accompanying the team for their final training stint in Belarus and then to London. Once there, we will also try for P-accreditation, so that he gets access to the competition arena."
