PHOTOS: Things not to be missed at Prince of Wales Museum, Mumbai
Prince of Wales Museum, now known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, was designed by George Wittet. It was built to honoor and commemorate the visit of King George V to India. Although the idea for a museum was initiated in 1904, the foundation stone was laid down by the Prince of Wales in 1905. The building was constructed in the year 1914.

Snuff Bottles: As the name implies, these bottles were designed to hold snuff: a preparation of powdered tobacco, enhanced with spices. Snuff was introduced to the Qing court (1644-1912 CE) by Europeans in the late 17th Century. (deepinder singh kapany)
