Photos: See all that thrives in the river Ganga, in a new book of photographs

In the book, “Rowing down the Ganges,” captures the essence of the river Ganga through photographs and text, from its source to the sea. The book is an attempt to unify the geological splendor, unique biodiversity and cultural vibrancy of the river. Focused on the biodiversity of the river, the book, published by the Wildlife Institute of India and the National Mission for Clean Ganga, is also meant to educate people about all that thrives in and by the river, through the lenses of several photographers.
