Hariyali Teej 2022: Facts you probably didn't know about the auspicious Hindu festival
The festivals of teej are observed every year during the monsoon season. Hariyali Teej is marked on the third day (Tritiya) of Shukla paksha in Shravan/Sawan month, according to the Hindu calendar.
Hariyali Teej also known as Shraavana Teej is a festival of the Hindus dedicated to Goddess Parvati and her union with Lord Shiva. It is observed in the northern states of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Chandigarh. This year, the festival will be celebrated on July 31.(HT Photo/Keshav Singh)
