Photos: Protesters clash in Yangon over Myanmar military coup

On February 25, supporters of the military marched through Myanmar's commercial hub Yangon carrying signs that read, "We stand with the defence services." Since the start of February, pro-democracy protesters in Myanmar have taken to the streets, demanding the release of their leader Aung San Suu Kyi. Protests in Yangon have remained largely peaceful, despite the presence of troops and security forces barricading key junctions. But on February 25 noon, clashes were reported between pro-military and pro-democracy supporters near Yangon Central station's railway compound.
