A week ago, the school had reached out to parents in a moment of crisis after its bank accounts were frozen by the government as a result of the ongoing police investigation against DS Kulkarni (alias DSK). Despite the incident, the school had assured parents that the problems will be resolved by May 5. However, irked by the development, the parents’ committee had planned to issue a letter to the school and later escalate the matter to the education ministry.

The recent message from the school asking for fee submissions came as a silver lining.

A parent, on the condition of anonymity, said, “Many parents had not paid the fees and after the school accounts were frozen, the authorities had asked us to stop making payments until the issue was resolved. The new circular released by the school means that the problem might have been resolved. All parents have been given till May 12 to pay the fees.”

According to the letter sent to parents by the school, classes for the next academic year will resume from June 7.
