Eight sandalwood trees stolen from Kirloskar industries premises in Kothrud
The suspects broke the fencing wire and cut eight sandalwood trees located in the land behind gate no 3 and 4 and escaped. The total value of the stolen sandalwood has been estimated to be Rs 32,500.
The Alankar police have booked unidentified persons for chopping eight sandalwood trees and stealing them from the premises of Kirloskar industries limited in Kothrud on Thursday night.
According to the FIR lodged with the police, the complainant, identified as Motiram Dhamale (55), a resident of Uritnagar on Warje highway, stated that the accused gained entry into the forest land, which falls under the company jurisdiction, between 12.30 am and 2.30 am on Thursday.
