Missing jawan found dead near Ghorpadi railway track

The deceased has been identified as Shri Ramesh, a native of Tamil Nadu, who was posted with the Signals Group Headquarters.

A 28-year-old Army jawan of Signals Regiment who had been missing since July 26, was found dead on Sunday near Ghorpadi railway track.

The deceased has been identified as Shri Ramesh, a native of Tamil Nadu, who was posted with the Signals Group Headquarters.

His missing complaint was registered with Mundhwa police station.

Police said that a suicide letter,purportedly written by him was found in his barrack. The letter states that nobody should be held responsible for his suicide. The deceased has asked for distribution of his money among his two brothers and two sisters. The letter further states that he is going to meet his parents.

Police are further investigating the case.
