Authorities of the Lohegaon International Airport were left embarrassed as a passenger travelling from Pune to New Delhi, on April 25, was served a fungus-infested veg puff at the airport.
Rupesh Rai, a resident of Wagholi, who was served a fungus-infested veg puff on April 25, tweeted, “It is disgusting eating here. They are giving customer rotten food. I asked for a veg puff and it had fungus inside it. I returned it and wrote a complaint in their book. I could not take picture of the veg puff as they took it from me and threw it.”
Rai urged the airport authorities to take strict actions against the restaurant. He has also sent an email to the airport director, attaching a photograph of the outlet and sought strict action against it.
However, any airport official, till now, has not responded to Rai’s complaint.
