14-year-old boy sexually assaulted by four men over two months in Ludhiana

A 14-year-old boy has been sexually assaulted by his two neighbours and their two unidentified accomplices for almost two months. The accused , kept the boy in confinement after kidnapping him and gave him intoxicating substance in heavy quantity. After two months, the accused dumped the boy near a resort on Chandigarh road.

In his complaint to the police, mother of the teenager boy said she is a single mother and has two sons, the other being 11-year-old. On March 18, both brothers were fighting over some petty issue on the terrace. The accused neighbourers, Chaman Singh and his brother Suchcha Singh, started scolding her sons over the issue.

Later, on March 29 around 7pm when her elder son was going to buy milk from market in the locality, the accused came there in a white car and kidnapped his son and kept him confined at an unidentified place. There all four accused sedated him regularly and sexually assaulted him for almost two months.

On May 15, the accused dumped him near a resort on Chandigarh road.

She also alleged, after her son went missing she went to police station Meharban for lodging FIR, but the police did not take any action.

Sub-Inspector Baljinder Singh, who is investigating the case, said a case under Section 364 (kidnapping or abducting in order to murder), 377 (unnatural offences), 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement), 506 (criminal intimidation), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint) has been registered against the accused, Chaman Singh, his brother Suchcha Singh, and their two accomplices, who are yet to be identified.
