22-yr-old law student found dead in car

A student of law was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his Honda City car that was parked outside Satish Chander Dhawan Government College, on Sunday morning. He was missing since Saturday evening and family was searching for him.

A student of law was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his Honda City car that was parked outside Satish Chander Dhawan Government College, on Sunday morning. He was missing since Saturday evening and family was searching for him.

The police have found his veins pricked with injections. The police suspected that he has died due to overdose of drugs. He was taking treatment for it from a de-addiction centre in Delhi.

The deceased has been identified as Abhishek Banerji (22) of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. He was pursuing his LLB from a private college in Pune. Dr Anil Kant Banerji, father of the deceased, has identified the body that of his son.

Sub-inspector Jagjit Singh of Division 8 said that locals of area infor med the police about an abandoned car that was parked outside the college since Saturday morning. The police reached the spot and initiated investigations. When the police opened the door of the car they found the body. The police infor med Abhishek’s parents after procuring their number from his mobile phone.

The sub-inspector said they had sent the body to the civil hospital for the postmortem.
