Under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, as many as 230 self-help groups for women would be constituted in the district during the current fiscal year. This was stated by deputy commissioner Ashish Singhmar while presiding over a meeting of the National Livelihood Mission here on Wednesday.

Singhmar said, "185 self-help groups have already been set up, and a sum of Rs 6.31 crore will be spent by the state government to help the old and new groups stand on their feet."
