38-year-old arrested for sodomising neighbour

The Basti Jodhewal police on Wednesday arrested a 38-year-old for allegedly sodomising his neighbour at Vardman Nagar.

The Basti Jodhewal police on Wednesday arrested a 38-year-old for allegedly sodomising his neighbour at Vardman Nagar.

The accused has been identified as Dharminder Singh of Gehlewal village.The 35-year-old victim alleged that the accused took him to a vacant plot in the area around 10:30 pm on Monday and sodomised him.

Following the incident, the victim approached the Basti Jodhewal police station. An investigation was conducted by assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Gurvinder Singh and the accused was arrested.
