52-yr-old truck-trailer driver electrocuted

A truck-trailer driver died due to electrocution near Jalandhar bypass on Monday, the police claimed. The deceased was identified as Jaspal Singh, 52, a resident of village Bajjuman in Gurdaspur. When the police was passing from near Jalandhar bypass, they found the trailer was entangled in live wire due to which the driver died.

A truck-trailer driver died due to electrocution near Jalandhar bypass on Monday, the police claimed. The deceased was identified as Jaspal Singh, 52, a resident of village Bajjuman in Gurdaspur.

When the police was passing from near Jalandhar bypass, they found the trailer was entangled in live wire due to which the driver died. The police said the driver was on his way from Gurgaon to Hoshiarpur carrying vehicles.

Salem Tabri police found Singh’s body outside the trucktrailer near co-driver’s seat. The police said that usually Singh’s son, Lakhwinder Singh, 20, used to assist him during his travel, but this time he did not come along due to his exams. Singh was going to home after one-anda-half month.
