Bathinda deputy commissioner Basant Garg held a sangat darshan to redress the complaints of local residents at administrative complex here on Wednesday. Garg directed the heads of various departments to redress the complaints received during the sangat darshan on priority basis.
Giving details, the deputy commissioner said: "Nearly 54 complaints were redressed during the sangat darshan and all those were duly registered so that record regarding the same can be made in proper manner."
He said most of the complaints were related to Bathinda municipal corporation, district police and sub-divisional magistrate.
He said during the programme, members of gram panchyat from Bir Talab village also requested to shift electricity poles and wires from residential area. Superintending engineer, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), was directed to resolve the issue.
All the heads of various departments were directed to act in a stipulated time.
