Addressing a state-level programme organised by the AAP to pay tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary at his native village Khatkar Kalan, the party leaders also took oath that they would provide corruption-free government in Punjab if they come to power in the state.

"In fact, the people of Punjab are fed up with the corrupt policies of both the SAD-BJP combine and the Congress and are looking towards AAP to resolve their problems. Time has come to leave everything else behind and bring the entire state under the umbrella of AAP," said party's state convenor Sucha Singh Chottepur.

AAP MP from Sangrur, Bhagwant Mann criticised the government over the issues of flourishing sand mafia, drug trade and the alleged monopoly of the Punjab's first family in the transport sector and food business.

Meanwhile, deputy commissioner Anandita Mitra paid floral tributes to Shaheed Bhagat Singh at the Bhagat Singh Memorial Park and Museum.
