The ADC said that the inspector of veterinary hospital was absent and hospital premises found locked during his visit. Even the doctor, auxiliary mid-wives and other staff were also found absent at the village dispensary.

During checking of the village high school, the midday meal served to students was found to be of poor quality. Maximum teachers and students were found absent when attendance registers were checked.

"Strong action would be taken against employees for dereliction of duty, while mid-day meal staff was instructed to cook quality food," the ADC said.
