Faridkot SAD MP Paramjit Kaur Gulshan of laid the foundation stone of the stadium and panchayat bhawan at Ramoowala Kalan village under Nihal Singh Wala in Moga on Sunday. She claimed that the stadium will be finished in a year.
The MP handed over cheques of Rs 5 lakh for a stadium at Mall Ke village, Rs 5 lakh, Rs 2 lakh for SC dharamshala at Wadda Ghar village, Rs 3 lakh for cattle pond and Rs 8 lakh for various wards of Baghapurana.
During the function, she enlisted a number of works to be taken up with the state government. The MP directed the officials to ensure the implementation with fairness. Prominent among those attended the occasion included local MLA Rajwinder Kaur Bhagike, senior akali leader Ranwinder Singh Pappu Ramoowala and SAD district president Teerath Singh Mahla.
