APP finalises district chiefs,to announce names on Thursday

Manifesto committee also to be named, Chhotepur readies for show of strength

The Aapna Punjab Party (APP) of Sucha Singh Chhotepur has finalised all its 22 district chiefs and will announce their names on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Chhotepur had a series of meetings with his party workers, mainly Aam Admi Party (AAP) deserters, to plan out the state election campaign and enlist probable candidates. The APP manifesto committee will also be announced on Thursday.

Chhotepur said he was open alliance with the Left parties, besides dialogue with “a large section of rebels still in the AAP”. His best bet till now, Hardip Singh Kingra, was also present along with Col JS Gill at Wednesday’s meetings.
