With the commencement of the new session, Government Rajindra College will start four new postgraduate and one bachelor course. The courses include MA (philosophy), MA (history), MSc (maths, MSc (Physics) and BCom (professional). These courses will be run under the higher education society of the college which works to promote higher education.
Principal of the college Vijay Kumar Goyal said, “The Punjab government has sanctioned these courses and seats will be declared for each course after a visit of an inspection team of the Punjabi University, Patiala.”

Member of higher education society of the college Manvinder Singh said, “In the new session, these courses will surely start, we are waiting for the inspection team to come and visit the campus.”
Asked about the fee structure for these new courses, he said, “Fee structure is decided by the university which depends on the fee structure of private institutes. The university studies the fee structure of private institutes and decides it on that basis. However, students would be charged 70% of the fee in private institutes.”
