MLA Narendra Thakur, former MLA Baldev Sharma and media incharge of the party Ajay Sharma, in a joint statement, said the recent decisions taken by the state government were 'anti-people' and were being taken at a time when 'its coffin was completely empty'.

In the statement, the BJP leaders said it was a matter of great shock and dismay that while the state government had no funds for providing cheap ration to the people through fair-price shops and for the last month people had not been provided pulses and edible oil, the government had managed to celebrate its thirty months rule in the state, claiming it to be historic.

They said, "The thirty months of rule of the state Congress party has been full of contradictions and it is against the wishes of the people as nothing concrete has been provided to them."

They said, "The party will continue to expose the misdeeds of the state government and go to the masses time and again to highlight the working of central government led by its one of tallest leaders, Narendra Modi."
