Rakesh Malik was gunned down by two unidentified people at his office in Tosham on Friday night. Protests erupted after the murder and family members of the slain leader placed the body at Surender Singh Marg in Tosham, demanding registration of FIR against state cabinet minister Kiran Chaudhry and her MP daughter Shruti Chaudhry.
Talking to mediapersons, Joginder Malik and Krishan Malik said that they would immolate themselves if police failed to serve notices to the Congress leaders. They demanded an independent probe into the murder.
Bhiwani deputy commissioner Ashok Meena and SP Satender Gupta did not attend the calls despite repeated attempts.
