BSF seizes AK-47, ammunition from Ferozepur sector

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel claimed to have seized an AK-47 rifle, two magazines and 52 rounds of ammunition under Tapu border outpost in the Ferozepur sector on Friday. Following a tip-off about smuggling of narcotics/arms and ammunition through the international border, BSF troops were put on alert, said BSF DIG RK Thapa.

In the afternoon, a BSF guard party recovered the rifle and ammunition from the fields, he added.
