Car overturns in bid to save stray dog; three injured

Three persons were injured after their car overturned in the attempt to save a stray dog near the power station on Chandigarh Road on Monday evening. Mayank, a resident of Chandigarh, said, “I, along with my two friends, was returning to Chandigarh after visiting my sister in Ludhiana.

Mayank, a resident of Chandigarh, said, “I, along with my two friends, was returning to Chandigarh after visiting my sister in Ludhiana.

When we reached near power house on Chandigarh Road, a stray dog suddenly came in front of the car.

In a bid to save the dog, I applied brakes, which led to the car flipping twice.”

Passers-by rushed to the rescue of the injured and informed the Police Control Room.

Cops reached the spot and took the victims to a hospital from where the victims were discharged after treatment.
