In an informal chat with media at local rest house, he said that he would review the functioning of his ministry next fortnight for giving top priorities to health care and provide better health services to people.

Earlier, rousing reception was accorded to the union minister by the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and workers at Parwanoo, Jabli, Dharampur and Kumharhatti, during his maiden visit after assuming the charge of union health ministry on way to Shimla. He was accompanied by former BJP health minister and sitting MLA of Nahan constituency Rajeev Bindal.

Replying to a question, Nadda said that he would work by rising above the political lines and would consider the public welfare proposals and resolutions of all the state governments to strengthen the health care network so that people could get better services at their door steps.

Nadda said that his ministry would also make sincere efforts to popularise homeopathy and ayurveda system.
