The five-day tournament will start on Wednesday at 6:00am in the royal city.

The participants of the tournament alleged that the Punjab Roller Skating Association had not informed the district authorities regarding the schedule of the events of the championship and this has left the participants in confusion.

However, the association authorities blamed the district managers for the mismanagement.

Vice-president of the association, TPS Gill said, “It is the duty of the district managers to approach and collect the schedule from us. The participants are putting absurd allegations.”

But the participants, who are yet to know the schedules of their events, alleged that in order to impress the higher officials, the organisers had extended the duration of the tournament from three days to five days and had scheduled the individual and team events on the same day.

The tournament organises over 48 events for different age categories from U-10 to 19. The organisers informed that they had made arrangements for accommodation for the participants.

However, the participants rued that due to indifferent approach of the organisers, the tournament had been poorly managed.
