Bakshi, while speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, said that since the BJP came to power at the Centre, the RSS had started spitting venom, foolishly thinking that now India was a Hindu monarchy.

Bakshi said that the fanatic forces like RSS had never ever dared to show their face during the ten-year rule of the Congress-led UPA government.

Bakshi said that those people whom the RSS had claimed to have brought back to the fold of Hinduism, their alleged original faith, under their programme of 'Ghar Vapsi' had never been a part and parcel of Christianity.

Bakshi condemned the BJP government for allegedly trying to promote a majority religion in a country which had a multiple demography with a population of 125 crore people from various faiths.

The Christian leader said that those who indulged in conversion of Christians or other minorities to Hinduism, seemed to have little knowledge of the fundamental rights provided by the secular constitution of India.
