Class-11 student killed in accident at Kotkapura

Avichal Arora, 16, a student of Class-11 of DAV school and son of Naresh Kumar Arora, a resident of Devi Wala road here, was killed on Wednesday in an accident near the new bus stand. He was reportedly going to the school when a fast moving trailer hit his motorcycle.

He fell down and was crushed under the trailer. The accident took place at about 7 am. The trailer driver fled the spot after the accident. People have, however, noted down the registration number of the vehicle which sped towards Bathinda. The police have registered a case against the unidentified driver of the vehicle.
