While talking to HT, state president of the unit Gurnam Singh Bajwa, said, "It is highly unfortunate on the behalf of officials that an employee chargesheeted with an offence of such a grave nature has not been susopended yet, due to political pressure."

"The use of forgery has been confirmed by Punjab School Education Board, Mohali, and even the University Grants Commission in reply to queries made by officials. Yet, it is hard to understand why the employeeis ebing allowed to continue," Bajwa added.

"The employee concerned who had made a fraud with the corporation officials to get job has been working on her job without any punishment. We fear that this charge sheet would be revoked at any time without any proper enquiry. She should be suspended from her duties till the time her enquiry is pending so that she cannot try to pursue the witnesses," he further added.
