CM approves GMADA’s proposal for 5 new police stations in Mohali

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Friday gave approval to allot five sites for setting up new police stations in Sector 89, Aero City, IT City in Sector 66 Beta, Medicity in New Chandigarh (Mullanpur) and Sector 77 in Mohali.

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Friday gave approval to allot five sites for setting up new police stations in Sector 89, Aero City, IT City in Sector 66 Beta, Medicity in New Chandigarh (Mullanpur) and Sector 77 in Mohali.

Disclosing this in Chandigarh on Friday, a spokesperson of the chief minister’s office said that Badal, who was also the chairman of Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA), approved its proposal for the allotment of one acre land in Sector 89, 0.92 acre in Aero City, 2 acre in IT City, Sector 66 Beta, one acre in Medicity, New Chandigarh and 0.50 acre for women police station at Sector 77 in Mohali. These sites have been allotted to the police department free of cost as per the policy of GMADA.
