CM Parkash Singh Badal mourns demise of two Maratha visitors

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Saturday mourned the demise of two devotees at Ghuman (Gurdaspur), who came from Maharashtra to attend the 88th All-India Bhartiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan dedicated to Sant Namdev. A spokesperson of the CM's office said Arvind Kulkarni (76) from Nagpur and Krishanaji Ambatkar (64) from Pune passed away at Ghuman following a massive cardiac arrest.

In his condolence message, the chief minister described the accident as extremely unfortunate and shocking. He shared his heart-felt sympathies with the members of the bereaved families and prayed to the Almighty to give them strength to bear the huge loss and grant eternal peace to the departed souls.
