These leaders included Fateh Jung Singh Bajwa, former minister Raman Bhalla, Dera Baba Nanak MLA Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, former MLA Jasbir Singh Dimpa, Joginder Singh Chhina and Gurvinder Singh Mannanke.

They said that the present SAD-BJP alliance government had proved a failure on the developmental front, adding that it had not fulfilled any of the 220 promises made during electioneering in the last assembly elections.

These leaders also claimed that no one was ready to invest in Punjab due to the wrong policies of the Badal government. They also condemned the government's recent decision to regularize unauthorised colonies across the state, claiming that it would not only ruin the colonisers but also residents of these colonies.

Taking a dig at SAD secretary Dr Daljit Singh Cheema's claims on development in Punjab, they pointed out that these were hollow since Cheema had failed to get renovated a road passing in front of his house in Ghoman in Sri Hargobindpur for the last eight years.
