Congress protests against Maluka

Hundreds of Congress workers led by local MLA and district president Sunder Sham Arora held a demonstration in front of the mini-secretariat on Tuesday, demanding resignation of state education minister Sikander Singh Maluka in the library books and science kits scam case.

Hundreds of Congress workers led by local MLA and district president Sunder Sham Arora held a demonstration in front of the mini-secretariat on Tuesday, demanding resignation of state education minister Sikander Singh Maluka in the library books and science kits scam case. Activists reached the secretariat in the form a procession, raised slogans against the government and burnt its effigy.

Arora said that the education minister needed a lesson on ethics and integrity. He said his party would intensify agitation if Maluka is not removed from the cabinet.
