Going smooth as compared to its arch rival BJP, Congress in fight may lead to an advantage for the Saffron party in the ensuing corporation polls with Congress senior leader Raman Bhalla and district Congress president locking horns.

Bhalla has now threatened Vij of slapping a legal case on him for tarnishing his image in the public through the media. Bhalla is preparing to sue Vij with a Rs 2-crore defamation suit while Vij has claimed that he was ready to face any type of suit.

Vij had in his press conference claimed that Bhalla move to resign from the treasurer post of PPCC was a drama and he had resigned also earlier from this post which had irked Bhalla who claimed that he had been continuing on this post and had never quitted from this post.

Bhalla who was annoyed with the denial of tickets by PPCC President Partap Singh Bajwa and District President Anil Vij to his favored Candidates had alleged that the competent candidates were ignored by duo for their personal interests and this was the only reason why he left his post.

Vij was telling a lie that I had earlier also quitted the post as if I had left the post who signed the Balance Sheet of the State body which bears my signature he asked. He has tarnished my image and I will sue him for defaming me he concluded.

Meanwhile Anil Vij claimed that he was ready to face any legal action. He said that Bhalla was now supporting the rebels of which I have sent the complaint to my senior leaders.
