Currently, the waste from the dairy complexes is being thrown directly into the Buddha Nullah, which is a violation of norms. On the other hand, the dairy owners claim that they have no other way to dispose of the waste.

MC health officer Vipal Malhotra said, “The team of EIL visited the dairy complex in Haibowal where 700 dairies are running. The team also visited the Gaushala.”

He said that the team also visited the dairies on Tajpur road, adding that they have provided the required information to them. The team will find out solution to prevent Buddha Nullah from the waste of dairy complexes.

Besides, chemical waste from industries and sewerage is being released in the most polluted drain of the city.
