All gas agencies in the Patiala district have been asked to inform 4,01,72 LPG beneficiaries to deposit their Aadhaar numbers and bank details before October 1at respective agencies to draw subsidy benefits under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme.
The instructions were given to gas agency dealers of the district in a meeting chaired by district food civil supply controller (DFCS), Anjuman Bhaskar on Friday.
Bhaskar said only those customers, who would provide their bank, gas connection and Aadhaar Card details before the deadline, would be able to avail the subsidy benefits.
She added that a large number of customers had failed to provide their details so far.
"Till date 16,60,440 Aadhaar Cards from the district have been made," Bhaskar said.
