Drug addict gets 10-year jail

The court of additional district and sessions judge Arun Gupta awarded 10-year imprisonment to Bharat Bhushan Katyal of New Basant Nagar, Ludhiana on Wednesday.

The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh upon him and was sent to Ludhiana jail. He was arrested by Aur police post after recovery of 500 gm intoxicant powder from his possession during a checking near village Ladoya on August 15, 2011.
